We perform musical variety shows (vaudeville), have written two group dance books and have recorded CDs featuring original piano compositions and Czech/Slovak folk songs.

Mark and Helena Greathouse, Great House of Music, Dance & Accordion Cabaret, gives a lively cabaret style program, featuring Mark’s own songs, as well as several familiar songs. The musical part is interspersed with short, humorous dialogues which highlight challenges Helena and Mark have experienced in their lives as a Czech-American couple. The core part of the show had two successful showings at the Portland Fertile Ground Festival of New Works this last January/February.
Mark’s compositions range from love songs to ragtime. Helena presents a unique blend of expressive dance and song. Mark accompanies her on the accordion.
